A gentle, detoxifying massage designed to reduce puffiness by encouraging lymphatic drainage and promoting healthy circulation.
Unlike lifting massage, which uses upward strokes, this ritual focuses on downward movements to help flush out excess fluids and support your skin’s natural detox process.
Step 1: Activate the Lymph Nodes
- Take a few deep, calming breaths.
- Lightly press the area above your collarbones on both sides 10–15 times.
- Gently massage the underarm area 10–15 times on each side.
- Lightly pound your chest with your hand.
- Return to the collarbone area and press again 10–15 times.
- Place your fingers under your ears and press downward gently 10–15 times.
- Use circular motions around your ears to stimulate the lymph nodes—10–15 times.
- Massage the area on the back of your skull (bottom of the occipital bone) with gentle pressure—10–15 times.
- Finish with a scalp massage using your fingers for 20–30 seconds.
- One more round of gentle pressure just above the collarbones—10–15 times.
Prep your skin:
- Spray the Rose Firming Toner and apply the Bio-Retinol & Black Coffee Contouring Essence for smooth gua sha tool gliding.
Step 2: Decollete & Collarbone
- Using the Main Working Curve, glide from the center of your chest outward toward the armpits. Repeat 5 times per side.
- With the Large Curve, glide along your collarbone from the center outward. Repeat 5 times per side.
Step 3: Neck
- Using the Main Working Curve, glide from under your ear down to your shoulder in long, gentle strokes. Repeat 5 times per side.
- Follow with downward strokes on the front of the neck from jawline to collarbone.
Step 4: Jawline & Chin
- Use the Medium Tip to scrape gently under your jawline. Repeat 5 times, finishing each stroke with a downward glide from ear to collarbone.
- Massage the chin outward toward the ear using the Large Curve, adding a soft shake at the end. Follow each stroke with a downward movement from ear to collarbone.
Step 5: Cheeks & Eyes
- Using the Main Tip, gently massage the sides of your nose. Then glide the Main Working Curve outward toward the ears, guiding lymph down to the neck and collarbone. Repeat 5 times per side.
- For under the eyes, glide the Medium Tip from the inner corner out toward the temple. Support the skin with your fingers.
- Use the Small Curve to release tension from the eyebrows. Glide with medium pressure. Repeat 5 times per side.
Step 6: Forehead
- With the Main Working Curve, use downward strokes from the middle of the forehead outward to the temples.
- Continue moving downward from the temples, guiding lymph toward the neck and collarbone. Repeat 5 times per side.
That’s it!
You’ve just completed your full de-puffing gua sha routine. For best results, repeat 2–3 times a week.
